“Isoko PDP Exco Passes Vote Of Confidence On Governor Oborevwori And Ukodhiko

Members of the Local Working Committees of the Peoples Democratic Party of Isoko North and Isoko South chapters and the 24 Federal Ward Chairmen, on Saturday, passed vote of confidence on the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and the member representing Isoko Federal Constituency, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko.
The vote of confidence was sequel to a motion moved by the Chairman of the Isoko South Chapter, Hon Victor Ekelega and the Isoko North Chapter Vice Chairman, Surv. Samuel Irori during a meeting hosted by the House of Representatives member, Hon Ukodhiko at his Erawha-Owhe countryhome.
The party executives reaffirmed their unflinching trust on the State Governor who they said, has done a lot to improve the infrastructural and educational development of Isoko and the economic empowerment of the people.
In his opening remark, the Isoko federal lawmaker said, the meeting was the first to be called by him to congratulate the members of the executive committees of the two LGAs and twenty-four Ward chairmen since their election and inauguration.
Saying, “the meeting is also called in order for us to rub minds with you, the party executive members, on the need of the unity and progress of the PDP, from our various units to the Wards and the LGA levels in Isoko and election victory of the Governor.
“As the party’s executives, you must work round the clock to foster and strengthen unity and peace amongst party members of the PDP in your respective wards for the victory of the Governor, our son in-law and leader, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori in the 2027 general elections.”
Stating that, “we must look at ways to move our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP forward, and strategize on how to win more overwhelmingly in future general elections. “
The Isoko Federal lawmaker appreciated leaders of the party in Isoko-nation through whom the members of the various executive’s committees at the Wards and Local Government Area levels were elected and subsequently inaugurated.
Hon. Ukodhiko while charging the executive members to live up to the expectations of the party members by ensuring harmony and be inclusive in their roles and responsibilities, promised to ensure their welfare were taken care of always.
He urged party executives and members in Isoko nation to continue supporting Governor Oborevwori’s administration in view of the many accomplishments and monumental ongoing projects of the Governor in Isoko nation.
Responding, Chairmen of Isoko South and Isoko North Chapters of the PDP, Hons. Ekelega and Bernard Idisi thanked Hon. Ukodhiko for calling the meeting to help galvanize the party in the local government areas and wards, assuring, Isoko nation is further poised and repositioned to deliver would be party candidates in the coming elections of 2027.
